5 Days in Prague (Winter Edition)

Five nights in Prague in December, based in Vinohrady. The skeleton of the trip is below. The longer write-up is on my list once I've sorted the photos.

Dates & base

• 8 December 2025 — Arrival.
• 9–12 December 2025 — Full days in Prague.
• Stay: an apartment in Vinohrady (Perucká, Praha 2). One tram stop from Náměstí Míru, roughly ten minutes by tram to the historic center.

Why Vinohrady, not the Old Town

Most first-time visitors stay in Staré Město or Malá Strana. Vinohrady is one tram stop east, residential, and the streets feel like the city actually lives there. Worth the small commute.

What I'd write up

A few longer posts I'd like to turn this trip into:

• What Old Town Square looks like at 7am in December versus by 10am.
• The Vinohrady-as-base argument, with specific tram tips.
• Five days in a winter city without over-scheduling.
